DAY 1 ARRIVE MADURAI - STAY

Today after you arrive at Madurai, our representative escorts you to the pre-booked hotel. After some refreshment and relaxation, we head towards the Meenakshi Temple. This temple complex has two temples, namely, Meenakshi Temple and the Sundareswarar Temple. This is one of the largest temples of the country and almost a city. This 2000 years old temple is specially known for its Ayiramkaal Mandapam; this thousand-pillared hall is sculpted with life size and ornamented figures. All the pillars look straight; you view them from which ever corner of the hall. The corridors are decorated with musical stone pillars, producing different musical notes when tapped. You can visit the nearby temples and then return to the hotel. Overnight stay at Madurai.

DAY 2 MADURAI – RAMESHWARAM

After an early morning breakfast we checkout from the hotel and head towards Rameshwaram. On arrival, you are escorted to a pre-booked hotel for rest and refreshment. We then visit the Ramanathaswamy Temple, dedicated to Lord Rama. This is one of the seven places in India where pilgrims pray for salvation. The place is unique with 22 holy springs and the longest corridor in India. Our next visit is to the five faced Hanuman Temple. The temple also has a floating stone outside the temple exhibiting the famous stories from the Great Indian spic, Ramayana. Other sightseeing places in and around Rameshwaram is the Agnitheertham, Ramjharoka Temple, Dhanushkodi and Adam’s Bridge. Return to hotel after sightseeing.Overnight stay at Rameshwaram.

DAY 3 RAMESHWARAM – KANYAKUMARI

Have breakfast from hotel and drive to Kanyakumari. On arrival check into the pre-booked hotel. Relax and then do watch the sunset in the evening at the beach. Overnight stay at Kanyakumari.

DAY 4 KANYAKUMARI SIGHTSEEING – TRIVANDRUM

Enjoy the sunrise and then have breakfast from hotel and then proceed for sightseeing of Kanyakumari – visit Suchithram Temple, Devi. Kanyakumari Temple, Vivekananda Rock, Gandhi Memorial and Triveni Sangam. After the sightseeing proceed to Trivandrum for overnight stay. Overnight stay at Trivandrum

DAY 5 TRIVANDRUM- DROP

Breakfast from hotel and then proceed to Nagercoil railway station for the return journey with beautiful memories. Proceed for the half day Trivandrum Sightseeing to visit the iconic spots Old Travancore Kingdom’s capital Trivandrum includes Napier Museum, Sri Chithira Art Gallery, Zoo, Padmanabhapuram Temple and adjacent Palace etc. Return to Trivandrum airport for onward return journey with return memories.
